A Salute to Teachers is an annual gala celebration of Santa Barbara County’s finest educators. Collaboratively created by the Santa Barbara County Education Office (SBCEO) and Cox Communications, A Salute to Teachers is the premier, countywide teacher recognition event.

A Salute to Teachers is made possible by committed business partners who ensure the entire event is free of charge to all guests allowing the community to bear witness to the critical role teachers play in our community.

We invite you to join us as a sponsor of our 11th annual Salute to Teachers, to be held at The Music Academy on Saturday, November 2, 2024. This year’s event will include student performances, awards presentations, beautifully created vignettes highlighting the honorees, and a reception immediately following with delicious food, drink, and dancing in the elegant setting of the Music Academy.

Salute to Teachers plays a pivotal role in highlighting new teachers, experienced mentors, the Santa Barbara Bowl Performing Arts Teacher of the Year, and the Santa Barbara County Teacher of the Year award winners.
