Presents $21,450 Check to the Santa Maria Library
The Friends of the Santa Maria Public Library (FSMPL) formed their non-profit in support of reading and the Santa Maria Library over 40 years ago. Through its fundraising events and requests for grants in support of the Library they were able to meet the Library’s “wish list” in full this year.
The Library Director, Dawn Jackson, was very appreciative of FSMPL for all the support they provided to the Library and its staff throughout the year.
Donations from the community are the main foundation of being able to provide the dollar support to the Library. You can donate through our website, www.fsmpl.org or by scanning this QR code below. The Friends operate a used bookstore in the Santa Maria Town Center, where we accept donations of books as well.
