This letter confirms the Santa Maria Valley Chamber supports Allan Hancock College to provide agriculture training, tours, paid internships, and experiences for students pursuing degrees and certificates in Agriculture Robotics and Mechanized Agriculture. As a partner, we strive to support educational institutions committed to preparing the next generation of agriculture leadership, employees, and management.

If the proposal for The Allan Hancock College (AHC) Innovative Mechanized Agriculture Growing Inclusive Networks Education (IMAGINE) Advanced Technology Education NSF 21-598 grant is funded the Santa Maria Valley Chamber, is committed to serve as a partner in this project the following ways:

1.            Help get the word out to the community that Allan Hancock College is expanding its Agriculture pathways to include  agriculture robotics and mechatronics.

2.            Work with Allan Hancock College to share the opportunity for local business and industry partners to utilize student interns.

3.            Invite the Allan Hancock College Agriculture department to networking events
