Community Town Hall Meetings Scheduled to Provide Information on Measure C
The City of Santa Maria will host four town hall meetings throughout the community to provide residents with information about Measure C, a proposed half-cent sales tax measure on the November 3, 2026 ballot. City representatives will share what it means for our community and offer residents an opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session.
All meetings will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the following community locations:
- Monday, September 14 — Grogan Community Center
- Monday, September 21 — Edwards Community Center
- Monday, September 28 — Minami Community Center
- Monday, October 5 —Shepard Hall, Santa Maria Public Library
Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting that is most convenient for them. Each meeting will feature the same informational presentation and provide an opportunity for residents to have their questions answered directly.

Se programan reuniones comunitarias para brindar información sobre la Medida C
La Ciudad de Santa Maria organizará cuatro reuniones públicas en distintos puntos de la comunidad para proporcionar a los residentes información sobre la Medida C, una propuesta de medio centavo de impuesto a las ventas, a lo cual se votará el 3 de noviembre de 2026. Los representantes de la Ciudad compartirán lo que esto significa para nuestra comunidad y ofrecerán a los residentes la oportunidad de participar en una sesión de preguntas y respuestas.
Todas las reuniones se llevarán a cabo de 6:30 a 7:30 p. m. en los siguientes lugares de la comunidad:
• Lunes, 14 de septiembre — Centro Comunitario Grogan
• Lunes, 21 de septiembre — Centro Comunitario Edwards
• Lunes, 28 de septiembre — Centro Comunitario Minami
• Lunes, 5 de octubre — Shepard Hall en la Biblioteca Pública de Santa Maria
