State of Vandenberg ? A Brief Overview
What is the State of Vandenberg?
The State of Vandenberg was born out of a need for increased transparency in the mid-2010s. Initially named the Joint Chambers of Commerce Luncheon, then later renamed as the State of Vandenberg. Both iterations were the same in execution and often include approximately 150- 200 community members, and local media coverage as well.The luncheon, hosted by the Lompoc Valley and Santa Maria Valley Chambers of Commerce, provides community members the opportunity to hear directly from the Space Launch Delta 30 commander on priorities and a projection of what is to come.
Local community members have shared that they appreciate the fact that Vandenberg is part of our communities, both as a major economic driver and as a collection of individuals doing valuable work and service on our behalf.
