Hosted in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Santa Maria Valley Chamber Regional Civics Bee is an annual initiative that encourages middle school students to actively engage with their community. Through essay writing and a high-stakes, live quiz-show competition, students identify real-world local issues, propose innovative solutions, and test their knowledge of American civics. This premier, nonpartisan program inspires local problem-solving, builds vital workforce skills, and offers top finalists an exciting pathway to state and national competitions.
