Join us in honoring all Veterans, and especially those who have given the last full measure of devotion for our country. This ceremony will be dedicating a plaque in the memory of Richard Landers, and Orcutt Veteran who was killed in Vietnam. This is part of an ongoing commitment by the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce to make sure that these honored Veterans are never forgotten. All 113 Santa Maria Valley Veterans who have been casualties from WWI through the current War on Terrorism are listed and remembered in the monument area. The event is provided in close coordination with the Chamber of Commerce, City of Santa Maria, Recreation and Parks Department and local Veteran Groups.
In addition, inside the Maldonado Community Youth Center, the widely regarded “Remembering Our Fallen” exhibit will be on display from December 7 through December 12.
