The 2016 Freedom Monument Veterans Memorial Ceremony will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam, 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor, and 15th Anniversary of the Freedom Monument. Join us in honoring all Veterans, and especially those who have given the last full measure of devotion for our country. This ceremony is part of a week-long event in close coordination with the Chamber of Commerce, City of Santa Maria, Recreation and Parks Department and local Veteran Groups. It includes the display of the "Remember Our Fallen" exhibit within the Abel Maldonado Youth Center.
Come early as the Sweet Adelines Tri-City Chorus will provide pre-event, patriotic, musical selections.
In case of rain, the event will be held inside. Everyone is welcome!

- Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Glenn Morris
- Disabled American Veterans Commander, Chapter 91, Frank Campo
- Commander, Santa Maria Valley Veteran Honor Guard, Michael Stadnick
- Santa Barbara County 5th District Supervisor, Steve Lavagnino
- VAFB Commander Advisory Group Member, Dave Cross, will be the emcee
- Commander 30th Space Wing, Colonel J. Christopher Moss
