Mayor Alice Patino and City Manager Rick Haydon will be providing an update on the State of the City.
Mayor Alice Patino will speak about recent City accomplishments and discuss future projects to improve the community’s quality of life. As a preview, these range from renovating Oakley Park, to downtown revitalization, and infrastructure improvements and other initiatives.
City Manager Rick Haydon is responsible for overseeing 10 City departments, over 700 employees, and an annual budget of $186 million. He will present an overview of the City’s finances, including revenue trends, and how the City plans to meet the City Council’s goals and priorities.
The Business Development Forum provides monthly insightful programs that the business community can use to improve their knowledge base and business activities.
Events & Goals of the forum:
1. To provide value to local businesses to increase Chamber membership.
2. To create a forum for local businesses to network and exchange ideas about topics important to the business community.
3. To raise public awareness on issues that impact local business.
4. To inform the business community of Chamber and community events that provide networking and/or marketing with the goal of gaining new customers and increase profitability.
