Adulting 101: Life Skills for the 21st Century
The City of Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to announce the next session of “Adulting 101: Life Skills for the 21st Century” beginning Tuesday, September 26th at 3:30 p.m. in the Library’s Learning Center. The Library is located at 421 South McClelland Street.
The first session, “Basic Life Skills”, is a hands-on workshop that will cover topics such as home maintenance and repair skills, housekeeping know-how, including steps to make your own budget friendly cleaning supplies, and basic sewing and mending skills. This program supports the Library’s mission of lifelong learning.
Adulting 101: Life Skills for the 21st Century is a series of fun and informative workshops designed for emerging adults ages 16-25. Participants will learn valuable skills in support of their journey to adulthood and workforce preparedness through a set of five sessions.
