Green Business Program of Santa Barbara County Certifies Dozens of New Green Businesses that will be honored at 13th Annual Green Business Certification Celebration

SANTA BARBARA, CA -- The Green Business Program of Santa Barbara County (GBPSBC) will celebrate nearly 30 new Santa Barbara County businesses that have achieved Green Business Certification.

You are invited to our 13th Annual Green Business Certification Celebration on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 pm! Please join community leaders, organizations, partners, and previously certified businesses in recognizing an impressive group of local businesses that have achieved Green Business certification over the past couple of years. It will be a fun evening with prizes, games and good conversations! 

We have nearly 30 businesses that have completed the certification and recertification process that will be honored at the event. These businesses have committed to implementing measures to foster sustainability in areas such as energy, pollution prevention, solid waste, transportation, wastewater, water, and community.

“We have a record number of green businesses that we are recognizing this year since it has been two years since our last event. This will be a great opportunity for our community to get together in person to celebrate each other’s achievements and to have a fun evening!” states Program Director, Kori Nielsen.
