At the ceremony held on a Thursday, Poor Richard’s Press was awarded two “Best of Category” (first place) awards and one “Award of Excellence”(second place) for outstanding work in the printing industry against 237 other entries.

The categories that Poor Richard’s Press won are:

Print/Graphic Arts Self-Promotion: Poor Richard’s Press won the “Best of Category” award for their Creative Toolkit, a marketing piece that showcases samples of their various services, including: paper samples, foil samples, embroidery samples, spot gloss samples, and more.

In addition to winning Best of Category, The Foundation for the Performing Arts Center submission was a huge marketing and fundraising success. With an overall ROI of 68% and raising $120,000 for the foundation, this mailing campaign was their most successful yet. “We took a leap of faith with a creative mailing campaign that was intended to be unique and eye-catching. The goal was to foster a personal connection with our donors through artistry, storytelling, and beautiful print materials” Kristen explained.

“The collaboration with Poor Richard’s Press was outstanding and the outcome was beyond what we had imagined possible. My hope is that our donors felt connected to our mission, and personally inspired to support our service to this community. I believe their generosity was a testament to the power of creating a piece of mail that was visually appealing, emotionally compelling, and demonstrated our gratitude for their support.”

“I am thrilled to have my staff and company recognized, we take great pride in our work and are grateful to be recognized for our commitment to quality and innovation.” Said Todd Ventura, President and Owner of Poor Richard’s Press. “We have outstanding team members who make this all possible. But without our clients, none of this would be possible. We share these accolades with Kristin Hoover from The Foundation for Performing Arts, and her entire staff and thank them for trusting Poor Richard’s Press with such an important campaign.”

The Print Excellence Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in the printing industry, recognizing companies throughout the Western United States that have produced exceptional printed pieces that demonstrate creativity, technical excellence, and attention to detail.
