About Us

The Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara inspires, encourages, and supports Santa Barbara County students to and through college, graduate, and vocational school by providing information, advising, and scholarships.

In 2020, the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara awarded college scholarships totaling more than $6 million to 1,812 Santa Barbara County students. Scholarship Foundation outreach staff provide group presentations to county schools, organizations, and businesses to promote understanding of the range of financial aid available to students. Bilingual outreach staff also offer free one-on-one financial aid advising and help students apply for scholarships and complete financial aid forms. Foundation workshops and advising appointments serve more than 25,000 individuals each year.
