Pick your own spray-free blueberries! We have 5 varieties to choose from. Mike is a retired, 4th generation SM Valley broccoli farmer.  In anticipation of retirement he planted blueberries 8 years ago on Dominion Road after researching their health benefits.  He chose not use conventional farming practices.  Instead, he uses organic fertigation & NO insecticides.  However, they are NOT certified organic at this time.  At the request of our kids, we've added strawberries for U-Pick.  Each year we add a couple more items for the U-Pickers that visit.  We planted blackberries, apricots, plums & lavender last year that will hopefully produce a small harvest this year.  Since there are no insecticides used, pickers may taste along the way to find their favorite blueberry variety. I have lived on the beautiful Central Coast since the mid 70's, most of it in Santa Maria, where All of my children were born and raised here, most are still in the area, raising their own children!
