For the month of March in honor of Women's History Month we have decided to stream The Three Deaths of Marisela Escobedo. We chose this movie to really shine a light on Femicide especially in Latin America. This movie focuses on the Ni Una Mas and Ni Una Menos movement in Latin American countries!
This documentary is not rated but does include topics such as: death, violence, domestic abuse, and injustice.
After the film we will be having a 30 minute group discussion to debrief the documentary and go further into the topic of Femicide and the dangers of gender identifying women not only in Latin America but also in the US.
