Freedom Monument Veterans Memorial: Join us on Veterans Day, November 11, to Honor Veterans The Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce and the City of Santa Maria welcome you to a special Veterans Day event at the Freedom Monument Veterans Memorial, located at 600 S. McClelland in Santa Maria, Monday, November 11, 2026 at 10:00 am. This year, local Veteran Associations will be recognized with the dedication of a new Veteran Associations Plaque. The Veterans Day ceremony will honor all veterans who have served and will pay special tribute to the 113 Santa Maria Valley Veterans who died in conflicts from World War I through the latest wars on terrorism. They are listed on plaques and memorials throughout the Freedom Monument area. The Veterans Day event will begin at 10:00 am. Everyone is invited and encouraged to join us to honor our veterans!
