Whether you are thinking about starting a business, recently launched one, or want to strengthen the foundation of an existing business, this workshop is designed to help you better understand the basics and take your next step with confidence.

Join the Hispanic Business Alliance for Grow Your Business Workshop – Basics to Start a Business / Básicos para poner un negocio, presented by HBA Chair Sergio Zepeda.

This interactive workshop will walk participants through the fundamentals of starting and building a business, including important considerations when turning an idea into a business, establishing a strong foundation, identifying available resources, and understanding key steps that can help position your business for long-term growth.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn, ask questions, connect with other local entrepreneurs, and leave with practical information they can apply to their own business journey.

This workshop is for you if you:

  • Are thinking about starting a business but aren't sure where to begin
  • Recently started a business and want to make sure you're on the right track
  • Already own a business and want to strengthen its foundation
  • Want to better understand the basic steps involved in starting a business
  • Want to learn more about local resources available to entrepreneurs and small business owners

This workshop will serve as the first of a two-part Grow Your Business series. A second workshop is planned for November and will dive deeper into topics such as marketing, accounting, finances, and growing your business.
